કીર્તન મુક્તાવલી
(૧) મારા વા’લાજી શું વા’લપ દીસે રે
મહિમા ગા ગા કરો
અમદાવાદમાં રોજ સાંજે અમૃતહેલી વરસાવતા પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજ ક્યારેક સંતો દ્વારા ચાલતા કથાપ્રસંગને અનુરૂપ, તો ક્યારેક પોતાના આશીર્વાદ પૂર્વે ગવાયેલા કીર્તનનો આધાર લઈ અમૃતધારા વહેતી કરતા.
આ ક્રમમાં તા. ૨૯/૪/૧૯૯૮ના રોજ ‘મારા વા’લાજી શું વા’લપ દીસે રે...’ પદ પર છણાવટ કરતાં તેઓએ કહ્યું:
“મુક્તાનંદ સ્વામીનું લખેલું આ કીર્તન છે. તેઓ સત્સંગની મા હતા. સ્તંભ સમાન હતા. મહારાજ એમની આજ્ઞામાં રહ્યા. મુક્તાનંદ સ્વામી કોઈનું મન પાછું પડ્યું હોય તો સમજાવીને સત્સંગમાં રાખે. બ્રહ્માનંદ સ્વામીનો ચેલો જવા તૈયાર થયો તો તેને સાચવી લીધો. તમારે છોકરાંનું અને અમારે ચેલાનું બંધન. બીજા પાસે પોતાનો ચેલો જાય તો ત્યાં ન જવા સમજાવી દે, પણ આપણે જ ચેલા છીએ ને! દાસના દાસ છીએ, પછી ક્યાં પ્રશ્ન છે?
“મહિમા જેવી કોઈ વાત નથી. સત્સંગમાં અભાવની વાતો કરી તો વધવાના જ નથી. અંતર્દૃષ્ટિ કરવી તો આપણા જ દોષો દેખાય. અવગુણ જોવાની દૃષ્ટિ હોય તો છેક શ્રીજીમહારાજ સુધી પહોંચે. ‘ભગવાનનો સંબંધ છે’ એ મહિમા રાખીએ તો આનંદ રહે. આ મોટાપુરુષનો સિદ્ધાંત છે. આપણામાં જ દોષ છે તો બીજાના દોષ જોવાનો અધિકાર ક્યાં છે? અમહિમાની વાતોને લઈને જ આખા સત્સંગમાં વિક્ષેપ ઊભો થાય. ભગવાનનો મહિમા સમજાશે તો પોતાની ભૂલ સમજાશે, પણ ‘તરી જાણું, ઢબી જાણું, લેકિન ઓસાન ભૂલ ગયા હૂં’ જેવું આપણે થાય છે. માટે આ વાત સાંભળીને દૃઢતા કરવી. ગુણ ગાવાથી જ વૃદ્ધિ થાય. માટે મહિમા ગા ગા કરો. બીજાના દોષ જોવામાં કોઈ અંત નહીં આવે.”
સ્વામીશ્રીએ આજે ‘અમૃત પે અતિ મીઠા મુખથી, હરિનાં ચિરત્ર સુણાવે રે...’ મુજબ સૌને રસતરબોળ કરી મૂક્યા.

Keep Singing the Mahimā
In Amdavad, Pramukh Swami Maharaj gave divine blessings based the topic of the evening discourse or a kirtans sung during the assembly.
On April 29, 1998, Swamishri showered his blessings on the kirtan ‘Mārā vā’lājī shu vā’lap dīse re’:
“Muktanand Swami wrote this kirtan. He was the mother of Satsang and the main pillar (included in the foundation of Satsang). Even Maharaj remained in his āgnā once. If someone fell from Satsang, Muktanand Swami would explain the greatness of satsang and bring him back. When Brahmanand Swami’s disciple left Satsang, Muktanand Swami brought him back. You are attached to your children, and we are attached to our disciples. If a sadhu’s disciples leaves him for another sadhu, he would coerce him not to leave him. But we are disciples also! We are the servants of servants, so why should there be a question (of leaving)?
“There is nothing more important than mahimā. If we speak negatively in Satsang, we will never progress. If we introspect, then we will only see our faults - this is the principle of the Satpurush. We have faults, so why would we have the right to see others’ faults? The problems in Satsang arise because of talks that are against mahimā. If we understand Bhagwan’s mahimā, then we will see our own mistakes. We progress only if we sing the virtues of others. Therefore, sing the mahimā continuously. There is no endpoint in looking at others’ faults.”
